My Little Loves

I am so amazed at how much Amber loves animals. We went to the country fair and she seemed to enjoy the animal tents more than the rides or the food. She's got such a sweet soul and its so wonderful to see her so excited about something. It makes me wonder if she's gonna be one of the girls that grows up saying "I am gonna be a vet, or a marine biologist, or the like." Such big dreams I have for her, but really, I just want her to be happy.

Welcome Home Daddy

I can't believe how slowly 4 months has gone by, but it has finally arrived. Husband's arrival home. The girls and I couldn't have been any happier and prepared to welcome him home. We made brownies...



and made signs to post on the walls. We cleaned the local party store out of "Welcome Home" supplies and it couldn't have looked better.



And when the place looked perfect and the girls were dressed in their matching jammies, we loaded the car up. It was so late by the time we made it to the base to pick him up but Amber was wide awake and ready for the celebration. The day, night... was endless as we waited and the anticipation was overwhelming but it all lead to this amazing feeling of being complete. Our missing puzzle piece was home and we were a whole family again.
